About 3,000 illegal immigrants arrested in Morocco in 2 months

A total of 2,903 illegal immigrants were arrested in the period between January and February in various regions in Morocco, a police source said.
The majority of these persons who were found guilty of illegal entry or stay in Morocco are sub-Saharan African nationals. Some come from central and south American, Arab and Asian countries.
The group also comprises Europeans (5 French nationals, two Italians, two Portuguese, a Dutch, a Polish).
In the same period, the source said 5,151 kg of chira, 190,700 kg of Kif, 625 kg of heroin and cocaine, and 14,360 psychotropic pills were seized.
