Iraqi national congress wants peace with Israel

The representative of the opposition Iraqi National Congress in Washington, Intiqad Qanbar, has vowed the support of the coming Iraqi government to make peace with Israel in case war errupts and after a victory of the American forces against the current Iraqi regime. Qanbar said "we will reach a peace treaty with Israel and will solve all regional conflicts peacefully."
He added "we do not want to be 'more Palestinian' than the Palestinians themselves, but we want the Palestinians to establish their democratic state in the near future."
