Yemeni legislative elections on April 27th

The Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has called on the Yemeni citizens to take part in the parliamentary elections due on April 27th.

However, the higher committee for the elections which is in charge of preparation for the elections announced recently that number of the Yemen voters registered in 2002 at 8.97.163 million. This is the third parliamentary elections in Yemen since the unification of its two parts in May 1990.
