Syrian parliamentary elections completed

The voting for Syria's People's Assembly election ended at 2 p.m. afternoon yesterday. The interior minister, Ali Hammoud said in an statement to SANA that it has been started to open the balloting boxes publicly in front of the candidates or the persons who represent them. Hammoud asserted that the voting process had been done in a democratic and competitive atmosphere throughout the 15 constituencies in Syria.
He added that the final results of the vote will be announced when the committees end the vote counting.
