Al-Shara reviews issues on Iraq with Straw

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara received on Monday a phone call from his British counterpart Jack Straw. The two sides exchanged opinions about the Iraqi question and the upcoming meeting of the UN Security Council regarding the Iraqi crisis.
In this regard Al-Shara stressed that the inspection operation in Iraq continues in the right way and according to the planned program due to the Iraqi positive cooperation with the inspectors team therefore the inspectors should be granted enough time to complete their mission and to solve this crisis peacefully and in line with the Arab late Summit resolutions and the UN security Council resolution 1441.
