American military deployment map in the region

The American force deployed in the American region and in Afghanistan in the context of preparations for a possible war against Iraq tolled 225,000 troops provided with planes, helicopters, ships and tanks, to be joined by 48,000 British troops.

The following is the redeployment map of these forces following the American decision to deploy B2 bomber shelling, a 6th plane carrier and the departure of contingent 101 from the USA to the Gulf region.

In Kuwait, there are 111,000 soldiers especially from naval and troops forces near the borders with Iraq, provided with tanks and 24 Apache helicopters. These forces belong to the third troops contingent, contingent 82 and the first contingent of the American Marine force. The Americans and the British are using the two Kuwaiti airbase of al-Jaber and Ali al-Salem and F10 and F16 planes.

In Saudi Arabia there are 7,000 air force members especially in Prince Sultan base to the south with F15, F16 and AWACS radar planes.

In the sea, there are 46,000 of the American naval forces and troops on the board of ships in the Gulf region and there are five plane carriers which are in the east of the Mediterranean, while each plane carrier is carrying 80 planes of which 50 are jets. The area is also trodden with a group of landing ships led by NASO ship boarded by 2200 marines. A sixth American plane carrier is expected to leave California on Monday heading for the Gulf region.

The American fifth fleet in Bahrain also includes 24 warships, 20 landing ships; 10 backing ship, while the 6th fleet positioned in Napoli, Italy includes 34 military vessels including two planes carriers.

In Qatar there are 7,000 troops in al-Aided and al-Seleiyeh bases with an advanced position for the leadership linking from Florida and will be the headquarters of the American forces leadership in case a war erupts.

In Bahrain there are more than 5,000 American troops and the headquarters of the leadership of the fifth American fleet which is considered the key center for all ships in the region.

In the United Arab Emirates there are 1200 troops. In Turkey there are 2,000 American troops in Incerlik base for the American and British F-15 and F-16 planes.

There are 1200 American troops in Djibouti, 3,000 troops and B2 shells and C 13 planes in Oman, while in Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean there is a base for the US Phantom B2 and B52 and there are 10,000 troops in Afghanistan and other 4,000 American troops in Central Asia and Pakistan.
