Israeli forces demolish some six Palestinian homes

The Israeli occupation forces destroyed six Palestinian houses and inflected large material losses in other 13 houses, and arrested more than 17 Palestinians in incursions operations that took place yesterday in various parts of the West Bank and Gaza.

More than 30 Israeli tanks and bulldozers incurred under the fire of four military helicopters in Tel Zaghrab and Tel Sultan in Rafah, in Gaza.

Palestinian security sources and eye- witnesses said that the Israeli forces leveled a highway and forced hundreds of Palestinians in the two areas to get out into the streets under bad weather conditions and the Israeli soldiers broke into the houses and damaged the furniture.

The Israeli forces also destroyed three houses upon its incursion in Balatah camp which is close to Nablus in the West Bank and arrested more than 17 Palestinians in several Palestinian areas including Akram Hijazi from the Fatah movement.

The Israeli soldiers also broke into the headquarters of the Arab Bank in the al-Azeareyah suburb in Jerusalem and confiscated special heritage documents under the pretext that the Bank's committee supports the Palestinian resistance.

In retaliation to the continued Israeli acts of oppression, the Palestinian resistance men and women opened fire at the Israeli positions near the two settlements of Ghenetal and Neve Dekalim in Gaza.

The Israeli forces also detonated a 20 Km explosive in a car parked near Kafer al-Labd village to the north of Toulkarem in Gaza.

The Israeli radio said that an Israeli armored source broke into the village and carried out a large scale mopping up operation inside it.
