Yemen identified person responsible for blowing up Limborg oil ship

A Yemeni security official has announced that the Yemeni authorities has identified the name of the person behind the operation of blowing up the French oil tanker Limborg off the coasts of Aden in October, 2002.
The official added that investigations with five arrested persons unveiled that the persons known Abdul Hakim Bazib is the one who planned for blowing up the oil tanker. He added he suspects that Bazib has ties with the leader of al-Qaida organization Osama Bin Laden. The official added that Bazib and three of his aides are in Yemen and that the security forces failed to arrest Bazib in an ambush in January.
However, investigations with the five detainees unveiled that Bazib received money from a Yemeni living in Saudi Arabia.
