Al- Assad gets a telephone call from Chirac

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad and the French President Jacque Chirac have agreed to continue their consultation and coordination between France and Syria in order to solve the Iraqi issue, peacefully. Chirac stressed during a phone call he made with al-Assad that France's position "has not changed" in this regard.
SANA said that during the telephone call "the two presidents reviewed the efforts made by the two countries to solve the Iraqi issue, peacefully."
