More Palestinians killed, Mofaz threatens even more killing
Palestine-Israel, Military, 2/25/2003

Following the bloody Israeli day in Beit Hanoun which resulted in killing 10 Palestinians, more wounded and detainees, and destruction of populated houses, the Israeli forces yesterday continued operations of killing and breaking into the Palestinian cities and areas.

One Palestinian from Balatah camp died yesterday as the Israeli forces broke into his house to arrest one of his children while the Israeli armored vehicles and tanks, once again incurred in Khan Younis and demolished a three- floor house and destroyed two roads linking Khan Younis to Gaza.

The Israeli forces also launched a campaign of arrest and detention that covered scores of the citizens of Jerusalem, Toulkarem, Nablus, Qalqilya and prevented the rescue teams from having access to the wounded, and this resulted in more killings among the Palestinians including one child.

An official in Beit Hanoun town said the Israeli forces destroyed ten houses and bombarded two bridges and also placed sand barriers on all entrances of the city leaving behind scores of dead and wounded Palestinians before they pulled out yesterday morning from the town.

Meantime, the Israeli defense minister stressed that the Israeli operations will continue and the Israeli forces will be everywhere in the West Bank and Gaza and that the policy of breaking in and siege will continue against the Palestinian people.
