Al-Assad meets with Iranian presidential envoy

Syria'sPresident Bashar al-Assad received yesterday the Iranian President Saed Mohammed Khatami, Special Envoy Ali Akber Muhtashimi, and an accompanying delegation.
Muhtashimi handed President al-Assad a letter from his Iranian counterpart connected with the Iraqi issue and coordination between the two countries regarding the current development in region.
