Qatari court supports death penalty against a Jordanian convicted of spying

The Qatari court of appeal has backed the death penalty by the Greater Criminal Court issued four months ago against the Jordanian citizen Firas al-Majali on charges of spying for Jordan.
The judge sentenced in absentia to accept the appeal of the defendant lawyer with approving the previous verdict which sentenced al-Majali to death. However, the judge linked by the execution of the death penalty to approval by the Amir of Qatar.
