Chirac calls for mobilizing efforts for birth of new Africa

French President Jacques Chirac has called for pooling efforts in order for a new Africa to be born with the dawning of the 21st century.
In a word, at the end of the third session of the 22nd Franco-African summit, Chirac threw his weight behind the NEPAD initiative as the key to development, security and peace in the African continent.
