Human rights effected by unclear definitions of terrorism and other concepts

Morocco's Secretary General of the Party for Progress and Socialism (PPS, in government), Ismail Alaoui, called the government to present a declaration on its commitment to defend human rights and democracy.

Speaking at a meeting Wednesday with his party's MPs, Ismail Alaoui called these MPs to press the government to present a declaration on human rights defense when the draft on terrorism will be submitted.

PPS secretary general said the draft has some deficiencies, namely the imprecise definition of terrorism and some general concepts that may impact negatively on the democratic process.
