Mofaz threatens more escalation against the Palestinians; One killed, two houses demolished

While the Israeli defense minister Shaoul Mofaz has stressed he will continue attacking the Intifada claming that he is fighting violence, the Israeli forces yesterday continued attacking the Palestinians.
The Palestinian youths Muhammad al-Murr from Yata town was killed yesterday after the Israeli forces besieged his house and opened fire at him. Another Palestinian house was demolished in Rafah under the pretext that the Israeli forces found weapons in it, while the Israeli soldiers broke into the city and arrested 18 Palestinian under the charge of resisting occupation.
Meantime, the Israeli forces arrested scores of citizens from Ramullah, Toulkarem, Bethlehem and Hebron and demolished one Palestinian house in Beit Safia in Jerusalem and arrested three citizens in the city, while al-Dheisha camp for the Palestinian refugees was exposed to a detention campaign that resulted in arresting three Palestinian women and their fathers under charges of preparing for a miltary operation.
