Iraq gives up presidency of disarmament conference

The UN has announced that Iraq gave up its presidency position of the international conference for disarmament which it is due to assume next month, March.
The spokesman for the UN, Steven De Djark, said that the Iraqi mission at the UN sent a message to the conference saying it will not assume the presidency of the conference, giving no reason to that.
