Ode's assistant: I have not split

The press officer of Ode Saddam Hussein has denied information published by the mass media on his split. This was expressed in statements he made to the AFP.

Adeeb Shabaan, the chief editor of the Iraqi weekly al-Rafeydeen ( the two tributaries), said I am a soldier of Saddam Hussein's soldiers and the great wealth of Ode is that he is the son of Saddam Hussein and one of his swords." He added "What was said only express the disappointment of the ( opposition) and the enemy of the glorious march of Iraq."

Shabaan explained that the news which of his disappearance, split and resort to one of the western embassies in Beirut "are null and void." He continued that "this news coincided with hostile media campaigns boosted by sides hostile to Iraq."

Shabaan, who also presides over the Arab photographers federation, said that he is visiting Syria to discuss issues relating to work and he will be returning back to Baghdad within two days.
