Al-Assad gets a phone call from Aznar

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received in Damascus on Sunday a phone call from Spanish Prime Minister, Jose Maria Aznar.
Talks during the call dealt with the Iraqi issue and the importance of consultation between the two countries concerning this issue specially after the meeting of the Security Council, the meeting of European Council, and after Aznar's visit to the United States.
Al-Assad stressed the importance of a European unified stance concerning the war against Iraq stressing Syria's stance that rejects the war by all means.
