The Golan: an explosion wounds 24 Israelis

The Israeli occupation forces announced yesterday that 24 Israeli soldiers were wounded by a bomb explosion during "training" in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

The Israeli army said that three of the soldiers are strongly wounded while other five have medium wounds. Military sources said that the explosion took place during training on the use of weapons in a military base in the occupied heights.

A military spokesman said that an investigation committee was formed regarding the incident which resulted from the explosion of an on -shoulder missile shell expected to be of RBJ Russian type.
