Morocco's King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine (commander of the faithful) sent kings, presidents and emirs of Islamic countries a message of congratulations on Aid Al-Adha (sacrifice feast).
The message carries the sovereign's warmest congratulations and most sincere wishes of health and happiness for the heads of state and of progress and prosperity for the Islamic peoples.
The sovereign also underscores the Islamic lofty values embodied by this religious feast, mainly the refusal of selfishness, abiding by God's teachings and observing rituals prescribed by God. Aid Al-Adha also symbolizes the urge for an Islamic efficient solidarity and the quest of the happy medium in thought and action and Muslims need so much today to abide by these values by showing coherence in upholding right and reflecting the sublime image of Islam, an image of tolerance, justice, cooperation and solidarity, the royal message reads.
The sovereign also urges Muslims to draw on their rich legacy in bringing a judicious contribution and enriching human civilization.
