Morocco's Zahra Ouaziz wins 3,000 meters at Belgian indoor event

Moroccan female athlete, Zahra Ouaziz won on Sunday the 3,000 meters race at Gand (Northern Belgium) indoor track and field event, in 8 mn, 42 sec 01/100.
Another Moroccan runner, Zhor El Kamch, came second, by 3 sec 95/100, while Britain's Hayley Tullet was third by 8.46:95/100.
During this indoor event, Spanish runner Alberto Garcia broke European 5,000 meters male record in 13.11: 39/100, that's 9sec 41/100 better than the previous record, held since January, 10, 1976 by Belgian Emile Puttemans.
The year's best performances were posted in 800 meters by Mozambican female runner Maria Mutola in 1.58:83, high jump by Russian Anna Tchitchrova (1.99 m) and in triple jump by Swedish Christian Olsson (17.24).
