Sahel and Sahara countries' security officials meet

The 1st meeting of security officials of the community of Sahel and Sahara countries (COMESSA) is being held in Tripoly, Libya to look into several projects related to consolidating cooperation among the COMESSA member-countries, mainly as regards exchange of scientific and training programs, coordination of activities in the control of criminality and organizing the labor markets between the countries.
On the agenda are also means to fight smuggling, consolidating cooperation to re-activate the role of human rights organizations and associations and trading visits by experts in road safety.
