Moroccan and French car industry sign cooperation agreement
Morocco-France, Economics, 2/11/2003
The Moroccan association of car industry and commerce (AMICA) and the French Federation of car distribution unions (FEDA) signed in Marrakesh on Saturday an agreement to exchange technical and marketing information.
The agreement, signed at the closing of the French federation's congress in Marrakesh, stipulates that professional associations of the two countries will be exploring prospects of developing cooperation between their respective members.
They also pledged to exchange visits in order to facilitate technical and trade contacts between the two countries' car makers.
The French federation's chairman said the holding of the FEDA congress in Morocco will help promote Franco-Moroccan friendship and establish industrial and trade links between the two countries' car makers.
