Arab businessmen federation calls for boosting inter- Arab trade

The federation of the Arab Businessmen has called for the need of taking effective measures to facilitate operations of persons and capital, and also commodity transfer among the Arab states in order to give a strong impetus for the inter- Arab trade and joint investments as measures conducive to the establishment of the common Arab market.
In a meeting in Cairo yesterday, the federation stressed that encouraging merging between trade and economic establishments in the Arab states and the expansion in using modern techniques so as to enable better competition before world economic blocs and finding out the opportunities to export Arab products and commodities to the world market.
The federation also decided to prepare a comprehensive data base for the Arab investors including enforce trade and investment laws and explanations on provided privileges of projects in the Arab states and incentives provided to investors.
