Al-Jazira TV banned from covering al-Haj rituals events

The Qatari al-Jazira TV station announced yesterday it was not able to cover al-Haj season for this year because it was not able receive the consent of the Saudi Arabian authorities. In a press statement chief news editor Ibrahim Hilal said "we did not get the consent to cover al-Haj rituals through we had applied for that since three months to the Saudi authorities."
