Ebeid : plans to convert dollar deposits into local currency mere rumors

Egypt's Prime Minister Atef Ebeid on Saturday dismissed rumors on reports that government plans to convert dollar deposits with banks into the local currency, and asserted that the government was protecting the freedom of buying, selling and obtaining of foreign currencies.
