Four Israeli soldiers wounded in a Palestinian operation, Israeli forces continue detention, destroying houses

The Israeli forces have destroyed three Palestinian houses in Ballouk area in Rafah camp and opened fire indiscriminately against the houses in Khan Younis.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli tanks positioned near the separation line between Gaza and Israel opened fire at the houses of the Palestinian in Abasan town and this resulted in burning the house of the Palestinian Abdullah Abu Diqqa.

The Israeli forces also detained yesterday the secretary of the Fatah movement Jaber Atieh at the military barrier in Beit Sahour and other nine Palestinians from Batta and Askar camp as well as activists from Hamas movement in al-Teira, Harma and Toulkarem.

In retaliation, three Palestinians detonated a booby trapped car against an Israeli military check point near Ghoush Katif settlement that resulted in wounding four Israeli soldiers, according to an Israeli spokesman while the three Palestinians were killed when their car was hit by cement blocs at the check point.

Eye- witnesses said that a large explosion was heard while the Israeli army closed the area.
