Egypt's First Lady to launch homeless children project, Recognized in Damascus for 'reading for all' and women projects

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak Chairman of Technical Consultative Committee for National Council for motherhood and childhood announced details of the national strategy for protection and lodging homeless children.

Ambassador Mushira Khattab, Secretary General of the national council for motherhood and childhood said that this strategy will be declared during the conference which will be held next month in Alexandria.

Ambassador Khattab added that all ministries and governorates will take part in this strategy to be the first national plan for tackling children's issues in Egypt.

Meanwhile, Arab women forum which was held in Damascus and attended by Mrs. Mubarak and a host of Arab first ladies, lauded great efforts exerted by Mrs. Mubarak in the field of enhancing women's work as well as the project of reading for all.
