Jordanian, Egyptian summit in al-Aqaba

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak meets King Abdullah II Ring of Jordan in Aqba on Saturday for talks on Iragi crisis and situation in Palestinian territories in the light of his continued contact at all levels to head off war and resolve the Palestinian cause.

Meanwhile, President Mubarak will meet on Sunday with the Syria's President, Bashar al-Assad in Sharm El-Sheikh for talks on the same current issues.

Mubarak's talks with Abdullah and al-Assad come following several meetings and contacts between Mubarak and Leaders of Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Kuwait, Turkey, Bahrain and Libya and before his expected visit to Germany and France next week.
