An agreement between Sudanese government and rebels

The official spokesman for the Sudanese government delegation to peace negotiations Sayed al-Khatib has stressed that the third round of the negotiations with the rebels concluded on Thursday in Kenya and had agreed to several points included the general principles for sharing the authority and reviewing the constitution; human rights and continued negotiations on pending issues in order to reach solutions for them.
In an arrival statement to the press upon his return back from Kenya on Thursday evening, al-Khatib said that the two delegations of the government and the rebels agreed to several items and signed five documents and two joint statements annexed to the memorandum of understanding and a memorandum of understanding on what was achieved in the negotiations and a protocol on ways of sharing the authority and resources.
He indicated that the next round of negotiations will start in the first of March to discuss issues on security and then moving to divide authority and resources.
