Russia' s continued efforts to avoid attacking Iraq

Chief of the Russian Duma Council, Genadi Selezneuf, has stressed the importance of exerting intensive efforts to prevent the military action against Iraq.
In a statement yesterday, he affirmed that the Security Council shouldn't under any circumstance permit military actions in Iraq stressing the necessity of offering the inspectors the needed facilities to do their duties.
He expressed astonishment about American President's ignoring of the International objection of this war and its expected effects.
This comes along with news reports of talks between France, Russia, China and Germany and their opposition to the US position on Iraq.
