Bahrain's parliament rejects the government's request to borrow from world markets

Members of the Bahrain's parliament have rejected to approve borrowing 500 million dollars by issuing state payment order in the world market.
The Bahraini mass media said yesterday that in this case this request will be submitted to the Shoura council and in case of its approval it will be debated before the national council which is composed of the elected parliament and the Shoura council for voting in a joint session.
The media added that among the sum the government intends to borrow from the world market is USD 200 million to finance the project of a first class car- race area.
