Egyptian Marathon starts in front of Hatshepsut temple Friday

Egypt's Minister of Tourism Mamdouh Al-Beltagui held a press conference Monday at the Cairo International Conference Centre (CICC) on the 10th Egyptian Marathon to start Friday in Luxor in front of the Hatshepsut Temple, passing by Ramses III tomb, Valley of Queens, Habo city, the statue of Memnon and the Valley of Kings.
Beltagui said that this race was included on the Association of International Marathons And Road Races (AIMS) agenda and is organised by the Egyptian Tourist Authority (ETA) under the sponsorship of the Tourism Ministry. He said that the number of contestants in the race this year reaches 816 from 25 countries in addition to 25 runners from various Egyptian governorates.
