Sudan complains against Eritrea to the African summit

High ranking sources in Addis Ababa said that the Sudanese government will file a complain against Eritrea over violating the Sudanese territories and sovereignty. This complain will be filed during the African federation summit which started yesterday.

The sources explained that the Sudanese delegation led by President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and the membership of Mubarak al-Fadel al-Mahdi, the Sudanese vice president and the Republic's presidency minister Muhammad Saleh will file the complaint which includes accusations against Eritrea of invading Sudanese territories.

Meantime, the Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Ismael who will join the delegation said that the deliberations of the summit will be limited just to one item, concerning the Libyan proposals on making amendments in the structure of the federation constituent law. He added that on the sideline of the summit, a meeting will be held for the commission in charge of settling disputes in the region, especially in Burundi and the Ivory Coast and the Sudanese negotiations currently held in Kern, Kenya and the Somali reconciliation conference in Dourit.

In the same context, the Sudanese president will be meeting with the chairman of the summit, President Thambu Mbekei of South Africa, the chairman of the current session of the African summit and will discuss with him the development of peave in Southern Sudan and with Libya's Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi. Eritrea's President Asyas Afourki confirmed his participation at the African summit despite the state of tension in the Ethiopian- Eritrea relations.
