Beirut proposes Feb 9 or 14 for special conference of Arab foreign ministers

The Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud has completed his consultations with his Arab counterparts to discuss the possibility of convening a special conference for the Arab foreign ministers on the Iraqi issue. An initial date for the meeting was set February 9 or 14.
Minister Hammoud completed his contacts with the Arab ministers by telephone calls with the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal and Iraq's Naji Sabri and conveyed from them their support to convening the conference.
