Al- Assad received a delegation of Franciscan archbishops

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received at the Damascus on Sunday morning a delegation of Franciscan archbishops that the sufferings and difficulties facing Christians in the occupied territories due to the Israeli practices which prevent them from performing their religious duties.
The delegation praised President Assad's care for the freedom of belief and performance of religious rituals in Syria. Later on, President Assad received Mufti of the Lebanese republic, Mohamed Rasheed al Qabani, and the former Lebanese deputy, Zaher al-Khateeb on issues of mutual concern.
