Head of Iraqi national monitoring department says Blix report not professional

The Iraqi News agency INA said "Iraq's head of national monitoring department major-gen. Hussam Mohammed Amin announced that the report submitted by chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix to the UN security council on Monday was not professional and unobjective for it did not unveil us and British claims on existence of weapons of mass destruction.Ê"

INA added "Bush and Blair had claimed that 13 Iraqi sites were suspected to have chemical weapons; a matter that pushed inspectors to search for them thoroughly and found nothing valuable."

INA reported today "Amin said that Blix might went under US pressure following his fruitful visit to Baghdad on jan.19-20th, referring that Blix had concentrated on some clumsy events while the belitted Iraq's positive cooperation with his committee even in entering in presidential palaces which were not mentioned in the report."

''Blix's report talked about gaps and material breaches that we know nothing about and forgetting Iraq's cooperation with weapons inspectors'', he said.ÊHe remarked that more "253 sites visited by the UN committee including 80 ones that have no links with the weapons of mass detraction," INA said.
