New security measures introduced in Kuwait

The Kuwaiti ministry of the interior has called on Kuwaiti citizens and residents in Kuwait to the need of carrying ID cards or passports as from today ( Saturday). The ministry explained that these new measures aim at preserving security amid current conditions taking place in the region.
A statement issued by the ministry yesterday said that every one who does not have a civilian ID card has to carry a passport that proves he is eligible to be in the country.
