Egyptian sentenced for one year imprisonment, over threatening the American ambassador
An Egyptian judicial source said that the higher state security court in Asyout on Wednesday sentenced an Egyptian for one year imprisonment because of sending a message threatening, via email, the American ambassador in Cairo David Welsh.

US deploys 35,000 troops in Kuwait
The American large military forces are being reinforced in the Gulf region, especially in Kuwait, where so far some 35,000 soldiers are being deployed. A matter which availed Washington the possibility of attacking Iraq in February.

Yemen: One extremist was arrested, one soldier killed
An official source at the Yemeni ministry of the interior said that the security forces in the province of Mareb, 170 Km to the east of Sanaa, was able on Wednesday to arrest the Islamist extremist Muhammad Ali al-Zaydi following confrontations that resulted in killing one Yemeni soldier.
