Al-Assad telephone call from Chirac

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received a telephone call yesterday from French President Jacque Chirac. Talks dealt with the latest developments regarding Iraq particularly after the issuance of the international inspectors reports and how the two countries can coordinate at the UN Security Council in the next stage to prevent the circumstances from reaching the point that may lead to war on Iraq.
Talks also dealt with bilateral relations and ways of boosting them in all fields.
The French support to Syria in sphere of the administrative development was also touched upon during the telephone conversation.
