Women entrepreneurs hold first international forum in Casablanca

The association of women heads of enterprises in Morocco is holding in Casablanca next February 20-22 the first international forum-exhibition.

Themes on the agenda of the forum will deal with the "emergency of investing in a new manner," "competitiveness and new approaches," "male and female management," and "reinventing enterprises by 2010."

The forum further schedules a series of conferences on management techniques, procedures for enterprise creation, and financing possibilities, said Saloua Kerkri Belkeziz, chairwoman of the association at a press conference.

She said over 80 foreign chambers of commerce and industry were approached to knot business ties with firms headed by women.

Around 2,000 women in Morocco are presently company managers.
