Women are segregated in Kuwait Bourse

The Kuwaiti Bank-notes market on Tuesday, January 28th opened a hall dedicated especially for women to handle with the Kuwaiti Bourse and to allocate offices for mediation run by women.
The hall which was opened by Sheikha Amthal al-Ahmad contained show monitors for stocks movement and special offices for mediation where work is only limited to women.
However, the director of the Kuwaiti general Bourse said that the Kuwaiti women constitute a considerable share among dealers with the stock market, noting that 16,500 accounts are registered under the name of women.
