Israel demolish four Palestinian homes, kills 13 Palestinians in al-Zeitoun quarters

A Palestinian medical source said yesterday that one Palestinian died of his wounds he had since last Sunday in the "massacre" committed by the Israeli forces in Gaza. The medical source said that Munir Abdul Hey Mursi ( 26 year old) died yesterday morning at the hospital after he was shot in the head.

With the death of Mursi, the number of Palestinians who died in the Israeli operation in Gaza increased to 13 together with wounding 65 Palestinians, six of them in critical conditions.

A Palestinian security source said that the Israeli side said it will hand over the Palestinian side the bodies of three Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in Rafah to the south of Gaza, two of them killed by the Israelis on Monday and one on Tuesday night.

However, the Israeli army operations in various areas of the West Bank and Gaza resulted in the killing of 7 Palestinians, including two children and wounding many others. In Jenin four Palestinians were wounded during the violent confrontation which erupted in the city and its camp between armed Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces which invaded the city to detain activists.

In Gaza, three Palestinians were murdered, when an explosion destroyed the house of a Palestinian activist from the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. Palestinians said that the house was hit by a missile fired by an Israeli helicopter while the Israeli army claimed that the three men were killed while they were manufacturing a bomb.

On the other hand, a Palestinian security source said that the Israeli army incurred on Tuesday evening into Rafah camp to the south of Gaza and demolished 4 homes near the border strip between Egypt and the Palestinian territories. The source added that more than five Israeli tanks and three bulldozers carried out the incursion operation in the camp amid an intensive fire.
