Kuwait: Five convicts in al-Doha attack before the attorney

A Kuwaiti security source stressed yesterday that the Kuwaiti who was held in custody on charge of attacking Americans one week earlier together with other four were brought before the court for investigation.

The source explained that "the five men were brought before the court today."

On Thursday, Kuwait received Sami Muhammad Marzouk Obeid al-Mteiri ( 25 year old) after he was stopped by the Saudi Arabian border guards while trying to sneak to Saudi Arabia.

The Kuwaiti ministry of the interior stressed that al-Mteiri had admitted "his crime" of opening fire and killing and wounding the two Americans, working in a company contracting with the American forces in Kuwait, on January 21st on a highway leading to al-Doha camp to the north of the capital Kuwait.
