Al-Assad gets messages from King Abdullah, President Saleh

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad yesterday received two messages from the Jordanian King Abdullah and from the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh relating to current developments and bilateral relations.
The President stressed the importance of revitalizing Arab solidarity and joint Arab work in this critical phase the Arab nation is passing.
Al-Assad received the Yemeni prime minister Abdul Qader Bajmal and members of the accompanying delegation which includes the minister of public works and urban development, the high education minister and the minister of al-Awqaf.
The president got a message from Bajmal sent by the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh relating to current conditions in the region and bilateral relations between the two states.
Discussions also dealt with works of the Syrian- Yemeni joint higher committee and bilateral relations between the two states and the importance of developing them in all fields.
The President also received at al-Shaab palace yesterday Lt. Gen. Saad Kheir, the advisor of the Jordanian King Abdullah II. The Jordanian advisor conveyed to President al-Assad a message from the Jordanian king relating to conditions in the region.
