Egypt, Saudi Arabia call for giving enough time for diplomacy
Saudi Arabia-Egypt, Politics, 1/28/2003
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Riyadh yesterday called for "giving diplomacy enough time to solve the Iraqi crisis," warning against the negative impact of a likely attack against Iraq on the region as a whole. Mubarak arrived in Riyadh on Monday coming from Kuwait in the framework of his Arab tour which included the UAE.
Diplomats in Riyadh said that Mubarak and Abdullah renewed their rejection to direct any military attack against Iraq "because that will have negative impact not only on Iraq and the Iraqi people but against the region as a whole."
