Sudanese ruling party ready to meet opposition coalition

The Sudanese ruling National Congress party has announced readiness to meet with the coalition of the Sudanese opposition in response to the call made by the secretary General of the Arab League (AL) on unifying national ranks and solving the Sudanese problem peacefully.
In a statement he made yesterday, the spokesman for the National Congress, al-Shafee Ahmad, said that his party is ready to meet with the coalition. He indicated that it has ready national agendas aiming at reaching a common ground concerning issues of difference.
Ahmad, on the other hand, commended the initiative proposed by the AL chief aiming at revitalizing the dialogue between the Sudanese people in order to solve their political problems.
