Moroccan-Indian commercial ties probed

Means to upgrade economic and commercial exchanges between Morocco and India topped talks held in Rabat Thursday between Morocco's Industry, Commerce and Telecommunications minister, Rachid Alami, and Indian Ambassador in Rabat, Ramiah Rajgopolan.
Both sides praised friendship and cooperation ties between Morocco and India, calling for the consolidation of commercial exchanges in industrial, commercial and telecommunications areas.
The Moroccan official stressed the necessity to develop a partnership with India in the new information technology, in software manufacturing and assembling and the expansion of Indian firms to Morocco.
The Indian ambassador voiced readiness to undertake all necessary contacts with potential Indian investors, adding that Indian experience in the new information technology could be profitable to Moroccan education and industry sectors.
