Mubarak continues his Gulf tour

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak, who moved yesterday from the United Arab Emirates UAE to Kuwait in the framework of a Gulf tour to discuss developments concerning the Iraqi issue, said that the Iraqi issue has covered the efforts to solve the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.

The Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah received Mubarak upon his arrival in Kuwait coming from Abu Dhabi. Mubarak held talks with the Kuwaiti officials during which he informed them about the results of talks held also week in Turkey concerning Iraq. Kuwait, however, is the sole country among Iraq's neighbors which did not attend the talks which were held in Istanbul.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah said that Kuwait knows what took place in Istanbul, but the Kuwaiti officials want to know more from Mubarak.
