Israel kills12 Palestinians; Hamas: the reply will be different, Palestinian blood is not cheap

On the fall of the Israeli elections, 12 Palestinians were killed and other 51 wounded in an aggression by the Israeli army tanks and planes against gaza.

News reports said that since the early hours of Saturday, the Palestinians of Gaza woke up to the sounds of missiles, planes and tanks which stormed into Gaza from all directions, never missing one house or a workshop. Ambulances could not move, nor the fire fighting truck because of the of the intensive Israeli bombardment.

News reports said that the Palestinians intercepted the invading tanks and damaged three tanks in al-Zaitoun quarters, while Palestinian resistance fighters shelled the Israeli settlements which surround Gaza.

The Israeli aggression extended to Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun and Rafah, while the Israeli defense minister Shaoul Mofaz threatened more attacks. He said that the attack against Gaza falls in the course of a plan laid to suppress the Palestinian Intifada and that the Israeli forces have started the implementation of similar campaigns in Hebron and the cities of the West Bank in order to complete the destruction of the Palestinian infrastructure.

Meantime, the eulogy ceremony of Palestinians who were killed by the Israeli forces was converted into a massive demonstration in which the Palestinians expressed their defiance to the Israeli forces and determination to continue the Intifada until liberation is achieved.

News reports said that the eulogy demonstration started from al-Shefaa hospital in Gaza and took the streets of the city and was attended by Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, the founder of the Hamas movement and many representatives for other Palestinian groups and scores of thousands of Palestinians.

The demonstrators called for revitalizing the Palestinian Intifada and carried banners saying "we will not surrender regardless to the Israeli force and the Israelis have to evacuate our occupied territories." However, the killed Palestinians are Marwan Rahmi ( 25 year old), Amjad al-Hattab ( 16) Eyad Jibtil Akkawi ( 18), Khaled Shallouf ( 17), Samih Kahil ( 22 ), Ahmad al-Fayoumi ( 22 ); Aghmad Ahmad ( 27); Ala Khaleifah ( 23) Wisam Hassan ( 25 ) Rami Issa ( 25), Muhammad Obeid ( 20) and Muhammad Nakhaleh ( 21) year olds.

The Palestinian child Talab Aziz ( 6 year old) was killed and his brother Ala was gravely wounded when they were hit by the Israeli bullets while playing in front of their house in Rafah.

In the West Bank, the Israeli forces arrested scored of Palestinians in Qabateyah, Jenin and Toulkarem in a large scale mopping up operation.

In retaliation, the Palestinians dropped mortars at Israeli patrols in Jenin, Toulkarem and opened fire at military positions.

A booby trapped explosive was blown near an Israeli armored vehicle at the crossroad of al-Khuder town and this resulted in damaging vehicles which the Israelis said was a bus for transporting the Israeli soldiers between Jerusalem and Ghoush Axion settlements.

One of the leaders of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Mahmoud al-Zahhar, said "the answer to the enemy crime in Gaza will be different, and Sharon will know that the blood of the Palestinians is not cheap."
